The American Legion Citizen Award
Peter Gallan Post 104 has for the past several years, offered two $1,000.00 scholarships. One to Norwich Free Academy and one to Ledyard High School.
The American Legion Citizen Award is offered to seniors pursuing a career in Political Science or Law Enforcement.
Applications may be picked up in the student counselors office at the schools, completed and mailed to the contact person on the application usually by The 1st of April. The only requirements are as stated above and the directions are simple and easy to follow.
